The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in an LA Vehicle Accident

The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.

The influential video game developer passed away following his car crashed and burst into flames on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to.

"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and we stand with his family and friends, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
