Declan Rice Set-pieces from corners and free-kicks caused problems. Was given freedom to roam on the left but was offside when the ball arrived in shooting positions. Awarded a deserved break around the 60-minute point. 6/10

The star midfielder Functioned in a forward spot out wide while also contributed with dirty work. Demonstrated moments of class but mishit a shot high. Withdrawn late on for a teammate, his rival, after being booked. 7

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's best chance before halftime, his strike well saved by the Albanian keeper. As a teammate holding position, he was forced to provide width down the right side yet his deliveries into the box varied in quality. Replaced late in the match. 6/10

Harry Kane The match-winner scoring seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth goals in an England shirt. The opener a classic close-range tap-in and his next a classy headed goal having drifted away away from the opposition. At 32, his form is unwavering and the side have every chance next summer with him up top. Eight

The attacker Struggled to get into the game from the left. Was presented with a good opening following a pass by the midfielder yet Strakosha denied him. Rashford made much more of effect in his place. 5
